Let’s Meet Up, Shall We?
Although SINCC is Chicago-centric, siblings from all over Illinois make up our ranks. Chapter meetings are held on zoom to accommodate those who live further afield. But who doesn’t love a chance to get out of the house and chat with other writers?
Each month(ish) SINCC hosts a neighborhood “Cuppa,” a chance for those in the area to gather in person. These events offer a terrific opportunity to engage with other members of our community, learn from each other and (more than likely) share a laugh or two. Make a plan to get up from your writing chair and join us for a Cuppa this year.
A short walk to the green line or the Metra Station, and close to the Lake Street Theater and shopping (including a great book store) if you want to make a day of it! Buy a cuppa in the cafe and come through to the Albion lobby (it’s through the back of the cafe). There is plenty of comfortable seating and we have permission to use it!
